Two Week Anniversary

Well, the family is getting settled in. i met my new boss and he is really cool. He said he will work around my Seminary schedule and the store i am working in is very slow so this is going to be a no-brainer job like i desired. Abigail is getting more used to her uniform and aside from the occasional lapse into crying and stomping fits, she is taking it pretty well. She likes school and plays with her new friends after school. She came home today and said that she is one of the most popular kids in school. Mikaela is being Mikaela; stealing her sisters things and making a mess. Mickie said that i am noticing these behaviors more now because we are closer in the apartment to her and catch her quicker and more often. i never knew this side of my daughter was so prevalent in her life. Luke is pure boy and climbs in bed with me every morning. He is sweet and ornery. Chloe is getting huge and talking and smiling up a storm. She is a puke machine also. Mickie went to her first Bible study with Christ Chapel church and she said that every lady in there was dressed to the nines. Her exact comment was, "no cotton was to be found there and Fort Worth women sure are different than Austin women" meaning she was under dressed and she did not care. She said the class was good and God keeps placing people in her life that have experienced what we are going through and made it to the other side. My mom and step-dad are coming in tonight so the kids are pretty excited. We are going to try out a church called Christ Fellowship that Michael Ann told us about this weekend. She said that it is similar to The Stone so we are excited.

Rock on! (unfortunately, that is my new saying this year...that things "rock" in some form or fashion) I am glad you are checking out Christ Fellowship tomorrow. If you meet a guy named Mark Ringo, you'll get a kick out of him. We went to college together and last I heard, he was attending Christ Fellowship. (ask him about the damn-it-doll) I'm so glad you are following the Lord's plan for you! Miss you!
